Exclaim!, Blocks Recording Club and ourselves here at Soundscapes are proud to support the Toronto Public Library's "Make Some Noise/Take Some Noise" campaign, promoting the library's collection of CDs by Toronto-area musicians at select library branches (the collection's searchable at torontopubliclibrary.ca) with a series of local music-related workshops, as well as a free concert featuring Slim Twig, Masia One, Winter Gloves and Gentleman Reg on Sat. Nov 15 at 8pm at the North York Central branch. We'll be giving away tickets from our register from today 'til the show until our supply runs out (our batch is 110 tickets total, with a limit of two tickets per customer; North York Central, Toronto Reference, Albion, Northern District, Parkdale and Malvern branches will also be giving them out in limited quantities).
