CORRECTION: John Vanderslice show

It has come to our attention that we were previously misinformed about the John Vanderslice show this past Monday. Vanderslice and Blitzen Trapper played to great effect. The Two Gallants, however, did not show. So, you can get a full refund to the show, at point of purchase, but only if you have a full (i.e. untorn) ticket. Thanks to our lovely reader Frank for clearing that up.

INTERVIEW: Okkervil River

Okkervil River's Will Sheff is one of indie rock's best writers going right now. With his group's stunning new disc, The Stage Names, still fresh in our ears, and a sold-out Lee's Palace gig this Friday, we jumped at the chance to chat with Sheff about songwriting, artwork, and the confounding logistics of being a touring musician in today's world.
