TORONTO LIBRARY WORKSHOPS AND CONCERT

For the past year, Soundscapes has been working together with the Toronto Public Library on Toronto Tunes, a program designed to make Canadian independent titles more available at our local libraries. The TPL has reported great success and are expanding Toronto Tunes with a series of free workshops this fall. These workshops are aimed at helping kids start DIY careers in music and music journalism, and they feature some of our city's best and brightest, not to mention tenaciously independent, minds in these fields. Plus, the series is capped off with an excellent free concert with More or Les, OhBijou, and The Bicycles.

It should be noted that the library was never this cool when I was a kid.
Please get out and take advantage of this exceptional program!
