MAKE SOME NOISE: Light Fires live in the stacks / The Mars Project screenings + Q&A / Army of Lovers lecture
The Toronto Public Library's Make Some Noise initiative continues this fall, with a live performance from Regina the Gentlelady (a.k.a. Gentleman Reg)'s collaboration with Ohbijou's James Bunton as Light Fires, screenings of The Mars Project (a documentary following rapper/recording artist Khari "Conspiracy" Stewart through his experiences with the current Canadian mental health system), and a lecture from Army of Lovers author/music critic Sarah Liss discussing the legacy of Will Munro within Toronto's queer arts culture.
